Tox

Tox is the short form of Neurotoxin. Neurotoxin injections are a highly effective treatment used to soften and prevent dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movement, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Neurotoxins work by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles, allowing the overlying skin to smooth and appear more refreshed. Results typically begin to appear within 3–7 days, with full results at about 10–14 days, and last approximately 3–4 months. Neurotoxins can also be used for facial balancing, brow lifting, lip flips, and therapeutic concerns such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and jaw tension (TMJ)

A Tox injection session takes 20 minutes or less. Your injector cleans your face thoroughly and locates the relevant muscles at which to place the injections. You will feel pinches as the fine needle injects the Tox into key areas, but most people find the procedure quite tolerable. If you’re concerned about discomfort, request a topical numbing cream prior to the injections.
